Pretty cool, huh?

‘handlebars in front of mountain’ & ‘nipple pinch’

Which way should this painting go? Why not both! So I did.

I do recall this starting from me sketching two opposite swastikas to determine some orientation for some other paintings and then I saw the handlebars (harkening back to my bike trip) and then also saw pliers and a nipple. Decisions, decisions…

An aside here, I made an older square painting that was made to be hung in all four orientations. No picture, it was sold way back. And it had an amazing title: ‘laughter at the speed of Steve Martin’. If the owner still has it, please say hi. It was 24” square; and I sold it at the Hothouse retail store just off Whyte Ave. I sold something like 12-16 paintings from that show, and no pictures, ugh.
